Card Tricks
The Pothole Trick.
As seen done by Michael
Close, watch as a hole is punched into a card and then is moved from place to place until
it is completly removed
from the card and 'placed' onto the card the spectator is holding. A mind blowing
illusion!
- Invisible Deck
- You are asked to take an invisible deck into hands and shuffle the invisible cards. An
invisible card is selected and remembered. The invisible cards are returned to their box.
A real deck is presented and the spectator tells their selected card. The chosen card is
found face down in the deck where all other cards are face up.
- Color Monte
- Son, Let me show you a card trick ! Three cards are shown, Two Red Diamonds and One Blue
Diamond, yet I can never find the Blue Diamond. Even with a double or nothing chance, I
discover a surprise before I ever find Two Red Diamonds and One Blue Diamond ever again.
- Flustered
- Sure I see the Four Red Two's and the One Black Spot, Yet take away the Black Spot and
One Red card and watch the Black Spot Card disappear before your very eyes.
- Himber Vanishing Card.
- A black wallet is presented completely empty, wrapped in a rubber band and placed on the
table. A deck of cards is presented and a card is allowed to be picked freely. Returned to
the box, the cards are again presented only to find the selected card gone. Where you ask
? Of course, the rubber band is removed from the wallet and the selected card is found
inside
- Rising Card
- A card is selected freely and returned to the deck and into the box. Mysteriously, as if
by Magic, the selected card rises from the box.
- The Princess Cards
- Five Cards are shown and one card is simply thought of by someone. The cards are squared
and one is selected and put aside. When cards returned and shown the thought of card has
disappeared. (This is a one on one illusion )
- DOTS Amazing
- A card is freely selected and placed face down. The remaining cards are shown to all
have the same colored dots. The selected card is presented and has the only
"odd" color. But wait, the cards are returned and the opposite color is placed
face down only to show that the remaining cards are now all the same but opposite color
again. The really odd part is, the cards contain many different colored dots. Now dots
amazing !
- Smiling Assassin
- Wow, not for the faint of heart. A deck of cards are shown all to have Smiley Faces on
their backs. A card is freely selected and buried back into the pack. The selector of the
card is loaned a small cap gun and asked to fire upon the deck of cards. After a quick
inspection, the selected card is found without a smile and a gun shot wound.
- Wild Card Trick
- 10 cards are all shown to be of the Five of Spades and placed face down. A card is
freely selected from a deck of cards. The selected card is then used to change all the
face down Five of Spades to the face of the selected card
- Say it again Sam
- I didn't have much to do the other night so I spent some time putting names on the backs
of all my playing cards. Yeah, really bored ! Anyway, I was thinking of a card that you
would pick if I asked you and I wrote the name "Sam" on the back of it. If you
could tell me the name of any card, we can see if I was write. I am !
- B-Wave.
- Four cards are shown face down. A queen is selected at random. The queen selected is
found face up in the stack AND the queen that is face up is also from a different colored
deck !

Money / Coin Triks
Watch that dollar bill.
Watch closely as a borrowed dollar
bill is miraculously changed into a $100.00 bill and then returned again, only
to
show both hands empty, except for
the $1.00 bill
- Penetrating Coins.
- A small glass is presented upon which a small square of rubberized material rests with a
nickel and a penny on top. A free selection causes one to be removed while the other is
clearly and visibly pushed through the material into the glass. There is absolutely no
hole left in the cover. These are removed as two half dollars are displayed as well as two
plastic drink cups and a playing card. The card is placed between the two glasses and the
two coins are dropped into the top glass and the two become one and one passes through the
glass and the card into the glass below.
- Silver, Copper, Brass.
- Three coins are shown. A Copper Mexican Centavo, a Brass Chinese coin and an American
half dollar. What as the Copper & Brass turn into the Half dollar. Now the half dollar
becomes the Copper & Brass Coins. A true miracle to watch !
- Interlude.. Ante Up !
- A small yellow poker chip is shown yellow on both sides only to be turned red with a
pass of the hand. As it is show red on both sides it quickly becomes yellow again on both
sides. This continues until it is shown that what has existed all along are actually 1
half dollar on one yellow poker chip
Metaphysical - Penetrations & Abstractions !
- Tear and Restore Napkin
- Magic Exposed ? Watch as the traditional secrets to the Tear & Restore Napkin are
exposed. Or are they ?
- Coin in bottle
- What ? A half dollar shoved through the back of a coke bottle ? You bet ! See it inside,
here it rattle and watch it fall back out through the bottom again !
- Perfect Pen - etration
- A pen is handed to you and you are asked to mark a bill of choice with any marking you
like. Then pen is then returned and then the bill. The pen is visibly pushed through the
bill, you can see it hanging and through the other side. The pen is ripped from the bill
only to provide the bill returned unharmed.
- Misled (Coperfield Version)
- You've seen this one on TV. A pencil is openly displayed and a dollar is borrowed.
Before your eyes you will see the pencil penetrate the bill only to be ripped out and the
bill is just fine. Again the pencil is cradled in the dollar and is then passed through
the fold only again to show that no harm has come to the dollar.
- Psychic Key Case
- You are asked to initial a dollar bill with a 3 digit number and fold it in half. Then
it is folded in half again and placed in a small envelope. The Psychic Keys are presented
and several an attempts to divine the number and fail. You are asked to get the bill out
of the envelop to check the number and find it gone ! Oh where oh where has it gone ? Only
the Physic Key knows for sure
- Personal Levitation
- If the crowd is in the proper harmonics and the gavitational flux is in sync, then watch
as the body lifts off Planet Earth !
- A Rhapsody in Rope Illusion:
- ( My Favorite Rope Illusion ) A short rope and long rope are tied together and the knot
slides to the middle of the rope at which point the ropes are untied to display two ropes
of equal length. They are tied together and slid to the end, untied and a short and long
rope are again presented A long red rope is produced as well as a frustrated magician. He
clearly shows one long rope and claims he just cant remember if this trick is with one or
two ropes and behold he now displays two ropes only to have them return to one and then
three different lengths which are transmuted into three ropes the same length only to
return back to one ! Realizing the audience is on to him he believes they think it is the
colors of his ropes so he proceeds to bring out three ropes of different length only to be
displayed visibly as three ropes the same length. The three are returned to three
different lengths and tossed into the audience. Next a Long piece of rope is presented
only to be cut in half by a you. The two ropes are restores to new with a twist !
- Multiplying Red Balls (Vanish & Produce)
- A single red ball is shown and placed in hand. But where did it go ? Now there's two but
one disappears only to reappear in the other hand, but wait, now there's three, no. now
there's four. But wait, four turns to three, three turns to two and two turns to one until
all the red balls are gone.
- Tom Thumb Fun:
- A silk is show in bare hands (no sleeves here !) and caused to Vanish but no fear, reach
out into the air and the silk is produced back into bare hand !
- A multi colored silk is show and stuffed into an empty hand, as if by magic, the silk is
caused to change colors and the hands are once again shown empty
Bare hands are shown
as a salt shaker is presented with a goodly amount of salt dumped into a closed hand, the
salt completely disappears only to reappear dumped back into open hand
- D-Lite Full
- Present empty hands and a large silk. From nowhere, a red light appears under the silk,
quickly the silk is show and hands are empty only for it to return under the silk. But
wait, it now penetrates the silk and is in the other hand and then thrown into the air and
vanishes only to return again under the silk. The silk is then discarded only to watch the
red light float from hand to hand in a magical game of catch.
Prediction-Mentalism
- ESPresso
- Standard set of ESP cards are presented and dealt face down. After a selection is freely
made, the card is returned to the pile and thoroughly shuffled. What that ? Was this your
card ? You Bet !
- Star Gazer
- Gaze upon a post card filled with celebrities ! Watch & listen as the selection that
you mentally made is exposed and presented. Great Physic abilities !
- Mental Epic
- Imagine if you will a small board with six open squares. Three predictions are written
into the top set of squares and cover with paper. You are then asked to select any three
items you wish and they are recorded on the bottom squares. Did I predict the correct
three ? Remove to top paper covers and reveal three correct already written predictions !
- Die-Cipher
- A small brass container is presented and examined. A brass die is place inside. Watch as
without ever removing the top, and only through outside examination, the face of the die
is revealed !
- Prophecy Cards
- A prediction is made and written on a piece of paper which is handed out for safe
keeping. A deck of cards is presented and shown to be a complete deck. After countless
shuffles and several cuts of the cards, you select the top card from a random pile. No big
deal, but take out that signed piece of paper and watch the magic unfold.
- Psychic Escape
- A brass container is presented as well as five colored brass buttons, each with a hole
in the middle. You select anyone you wish but don't show the color. The five are returned
to the container and sealed. A long needle is strung through the container and you must
now hold onto both ends of the string. Concentrate on the color you selected and watch as
the container is opened. All the beads are strung onto the string except for the color you
selected which visibly falls through the string.
Small Stage (Parlor):
For Our Younger Generations !
- Secrets of the Circus Clowns !
- A small box with a clown on the front is presented and shown to be quite empty. It is
explained that this box was given as a gift from a circus clown one day and informed that
the box contained the secret magic of the Circus Clown. With that from within the empty
box a large napkin is presented. A Clown cloth for sure ! It is shown on both sides to be
empty and folded into a pouch. From the pouch come several silks. As a final show of the
Secrets of the Circus clowns, A silk is show in bare hands (no sleeves here !) and caused
to Vanish but no fear, reach out into the air and the silk is produced back into bare hand
!
- A Production Symphony !
- A Box and Cylinder are both shown completely empty, but when combined, a Symphony of
silk tricks unfold. Two solid colored silks are tied in a knot and put aside. Then a
beautiful tie-dyed silk is shown and put inside a movie theater popcorn box. The box is
opened only to find the silk is missing. No fear, it is found tied between the two solid
colored silks ! The Box & Cylinder are shown empty again, yet here comes more three
colored silks which are tied together only to have the knots vanish, leaving a single silk
behind, But the Box & Circle are still empty, yet they now contain silks that change
colors before your eyes. How much longer can this go on ? No Worry, you see this Box &
Cylinder are a patriotic duo. From within their emptiness a blue silk bag is produced with
three little silks. Red, White and Blue. Once placed inside this blue bag, it is explained
that this bag exemplifies the greatness of our country. Our Country can to take in all
colors, all shapes and sizes and still our country remains the greatest of lands. With
this, the blue bag magically transforms itself into a four foot American Flag
- My pet Rocky !
- Meet Rocky, my pet squirrel. He is a real critter. After a moment or two of Tom Foolery,
Rocky wants to go back into his box. Once there, the box is taken apart only to find that
Rocky has completely vanished.
- Tear and Restore Newspaper (The Ole Standby Kids Shows Only)
- A large set of newspapers are shown and ripped to pieces only to be restored whole
again.
- Cards from nowhere and returned !
- The right is shown covered by a large handkerchief, when removed the right hand is show
empty. From out of the air, a card is produced, and then another, and then another. This
continues for several cards. The handkerchief is then folded into a pouch and the cards
produced are placed inside, however, once the handkerchief is opened , the cards have
vanished.
- Soft Soap
- What's that, you have lipstick on your hanky ? You have stains ? Don't fear, soft soap
is here ! Three stained cloths are put into a empty box of soap. Shake it up a little,
turn it over, and proceed to pull out three completely clean cloths ! What's that ? The
dirty ones are still in the box ? Rip the box to pieces and show them that it conceals
nothing !
- In The News
- Have you ever watched people running in the rain with newspapers over their heads ? I
have, and I've often wondered, "Wouldn't it be great if newspaper absorbed water like
a sponge ? Lets take this newspaper, fold it and pour in a glass of water. Turn the paper
upside down. Open it up. No matter what, the water is gone ! This all makes me quite
thirsty. I still have this empty glass, I know, I'll fold up the paper, turn it on end and
watch the vanished water reappear and fill the glass. Just in time, I need a drink !
- Ring Through Silk.
- A gold ring is presented and placed on my thumb and covered with a silk. From under the
silk, the ring is brought forth and placed on top of the silk on top of my thumb. With a
quick slap of hand the ring vanishes only to be found back on the thumb under the silk !
- Squaring the Circle &
- Circle to Square A small black purse is shown empty except for a solid circular ring
which is brought out and examined. A deck of ESP cards are presented and a chance to find
the circle card to match ensues. The final card shown has a square on it . Oh no, we
loose, or do we ? The black purse is opened and from within falls a solid square and the
circle is gone. What ? It was the size ? We all now size doesn't matter, just watch as a
large solid circle is presented only to be turned into a square with just a flick of the
wrist !
- Center Tear to Milk Pitcher routine
- A section of newspaper is shown, folded and then the center is visibly torn out ! But
with a little magic, the paper is restored and folded into a cone. The cone is filled with
milk ! But when the cone is opened, the milk is gone and instead there are silks. SO where
is the milk ? It's back in the pitcher of course !
- Destroyed Card to Tube of Magic Productions !
- A Card is freely selected from a deck of cards. Card is torn into pieces and placed in a
small metal bowl, the bowl in then covered and when the cover is removed, a string of
Silks is produced with the selected Restored Card on it. The card is removed and handed
out and as the silks and are then placed into a clear and empty cylinder. The tube is
covered and when the cover is removed, the Tube is found full of Fruit , Candy (Can suit
the occasion).
- Get in Line if You Can !
- A Tall cylinder is show to contain three balls in order, green, yellow and red. The
balls are removed and the cylinder is covered. The group is asked to help place the balls
in the correct order only to find them out of order when the cover is removed. They try
again, but just cant seem to get it right ! Finally, frustrated and ready to try anything
to get them into the proper order, the green & yellow balls are placed into the tube
and the red ball is vanished ! When the cover is removed, the red ball has reappeared and
they are all back in the right order !
- Zombie
- Are the spirits of the past with us tonight ? The Zombie ball can only tell. If the
spirits are present then Zombie ball will come to life. A large foulard is presented, both
sides empty. A large silver ball is placed and balanced on extended arm. The foulard
provides the ball with its ability to release its powers as the ball floats out and clings
to the cloth's edge. Spinning around the ball continues to cling and float about . The
zombie ball floats and remains behaved as long as it is exposed to light, but cover it
with the cloth and block out the light and Zombie Ball tries desperately to get back into
the light where it can be happy and bounce and float the day away.
- A Vanishing Flame
- The ending of any show often comes to soon ! A large white candle is show resting in its
holder. The candle is lit as it is explained that as a candle must have its flame, the
show must also have an ending, It is said that as the candles flame is ended, so is the
show. The candle is raised and the flame is blown out only to have the candle vanish and
transform into white silks.
